Race for life

I'm doing the race for life in worcester tomorrow but I'm so anxious at the moment, I havent been to work in a week and ive handed in my notice so i finish working at the end of the month. Now i have to go and do this race which i want to do, but this week i just want to hide and not have to go and look fat and pretend to be happy blah blah i'll still do it though cos everones sponsored me and i should do it, i just need to have a moan and have some hugs if theres any going spare.

I'm sorry you've had a pretty rubbish week.
It'll be alright. It's great you're doing race for life, just remember why you decided to do it in the first place. Plus exercise is good for you and will hopefully lift your mood a bit.

Hey that's cool I did the Race for Life in Worcester a good few years ago now - I think it goes through the town centre now doesn't it? It was only around Pitchcroft then, it was really good fun though, a lot of camaraderie. Lots of people just walked it and had a good gossip! You don't have to talk to anyone though, if you don't feel like it, and I think you'll definitely feel better for having done it, the sense of achievement is great and will hopefully lift your spirits a bit. Running tomorrow will be the best thing you can do for yourself. It will give you a sense of achievement. Im sure you will be great!

you wont look stupid! LOADS of people will have lost theirs too. They will expect it. Get there a little early and get your number and then run like the wind. Or if you have something spicy before hand run "with" wind! >.<

I did it last year (three legged!!) and I was dreading it. But once you get there you will be fine. You can take it at your own pace and everything.

Thanks guys, I did it and I do feel really proud of myself now :D And yeah it does go through the city now, which is good cos it's better than just laps round pitchcroft. If I can remember how I'll post the pic my dad took of me at the start :)
