I just read your poem. I have never lost someone so dear to me. I lost someone, many people really lately, and not even people I cared so deeply about, and it still hurt like hell.
I don't know what it is to lose family, but I know what it is to have friends that are like family.
What you've written is heartbreaking and beautiful. It means a lot to me on so many levels I don't even understand.
