centrelink is probably one of the most bureaucratic idiocracies in australia. send you a letter saying you are exempt from job seeking activities for six months, 2 days before they send you one that says if you DON'T turn up to a job seeking interview and DON'T agree to seek 14 jobs a fortnight they will cut you off, despite you not being well enough to leave the house without being severely doped up on valium so that you don't freak out and kill yourself, but leaves you incapable of understand what the hey the person is saying.... which centrestupid already knew cos they took your medical certificate a month ago.

they are quite happy to dock your partners pay for a over a year cos they are your de-facto spouse, then, when you break up and move to a different town, and need some help getting on your feet so you don't STARVE, they want you to prove that you were living together for a year. which you can't, cos he took all the bloody lease agreements when you broke up, and you weren't officially on one of them.
