Yeah haloperidol is an older anti-psychotic, and it works more rapidly than olanzapine.
I think its only licenced for short-term use, but either way it has a high risk of extra-pyramidial side-effects, as youve found out and take procyclidine for. Maybe its because you are young? Being an older AP it can cause TD.
Its used a lot for elderly patients with dementia, or in low doses for nausea associated with palliative care for terminally ill people.
