OK alternate, perhaps I am being over-harsh about spelling. But if people can't even spell correctly in a word competition then what the hell's the point!
And, for God's sake, we've all got spellcheck anyway. That said, the standard of spelling on RYL is generally pretty appalling - but then the site is in no way intended to be some sort of class in written English, rather it's to provide support for self-harmers as and when they need it, which is much more important. And I freely admit I'm not above the odd careless howler myself.
