Erm, I'm Jon and I'm 16 years old.

I first started self harming in year 9, 13 years old, and it has been going on ever since. I don't really know how it started though.

Last year I managed to get the courage and see my Doctor. She's amazing, but always insists on getting my family involved. I feel like that they will never understand. I'm constantly arguing with them. Anyway, I got referred to counciling but never actually went as I didn't want to upset my Mum. I just lied and said that I've stopped.

I currently self harm but can't stop as I think I've grown dependant on it. The worst thing is that I don't want to stop at this moment in time.
