You should really take the antibiotics. If you didn't need them you wouldn't be prescribed them and they know what they are doing when they prescribe them. By not taking them you might actually cause more problems if a small semi-resistant colony has set up already. Also, doctors often prescribe different anti-biotics every now and again if you need them a lot ofor the same thing to reduce the chances of resistance. I advise that you do take them and make sure that you keep all your wounds clean, dress them properly and make sure whatever you cut yourself with is very clean. Also that you get wounds seen to ASAP after you do them if needed as these will reduce the chances of infection which would be much better for you then just refusing to take anti-biotics when you have an infection which can cause problems such as septicaemia setting in in the long-run.
