Ann...that's my nieces name (hers is spelled with an 'e' though), it's a great one :).
Hon I agree with Callie, don't worry about fitting in here... We are all very different from eachother here though we do share some commonalities (that sentence was awful). Just keep posting. I don't always feel like I fit in but you know what? Regardless of how I feel people still encourage and support me so there must be something to this place :)
I'm sorry to hear about work and friends. Try and remember that sometimes people look down on others because of their own insecurities, not because of something actually wrong with the person they are looking down on. As for your friends...boy, I really am sorry. Sometimes friends just grow appart (sucks doesn't it). And if you feel they are using you maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to find some friends that won't do that.
Sorry my advice is a little scattered...it's just reflecting my state of mind at the moment.
