Rattlesnakes are poisonous. They eat rodents and are actually kind of helpful around crop lands. They are very thick bodied for a snake. They really don't want to waste venom to defend themselves. I should think that a snake sees a person as a great big stomping creature. I just believe in leaving them room to get out of the way. When we are outdoors another thing to do is to not put hands or feet anyplace we can't see.
btw, Americans of European descent have been hunting and killing rattlesnakes. So rattlesnakes are evolving to have fewer rattles if any!
We're having a lazy morning. We need to stop in town for some coke classic for my husband and to buy a new comb so we can find the one I misplaced this morning. Philip has already made reservations for tonight at a place that says it has a coin laundry. Packing is a compromise between the amount of clothing and times doing laundry.
