Firstly, yes some players dive but they are not praissed for this and generally in the english league you don't get away with it. Secondly football is more of a team game, it just takes more paitence than rugby, you have to break down a defence rather than just keep running at each other til you get to cross the goal line, which is, i might add the full width off the pitch so how hard can it be. And the gentlemans game aspect is nonsence, i've endured rugby games and believe me endured is the word, where i've witnessed all kinds of under hand play, stamping on heads etc. yes they respect the referee but only because they are sent off if they don't, its not because they are better people. Theres a great deal of snobbishness towards football but the fact of the matter is, theres more money because its more entertaining.

Rugby is about getting hurt..... but getting back up and working for the team!!! You have to maintain your line and push forward, slowly but surley the stronger team will break through and pass to the wing to get the try... You said that footballers have to be agile, well the wings and fullbacks are often much lighter, faster and more agile; in comparison to the much bulkier, heavier, slower, but stronger. Rugby is blatantly much better by far! And football is only more profitable because it appeals to those unwilling to spend time learning the rules of rugby; and football is far more appealing for the lower classes and those without others to play with!!
