Hi, I'm Lisa, I'm 19 years old and a junior in college. I'm getting my bachelors in Applied Mathematics with minors in Physics and Political Science. I work doing biomedical research in a Research Institute affiliated with my university. I love theoretical physics, practical applications of mathematics, programming, game theory, etc. Of course, I do things unrelated to university... rarely. I am training for a marathon and I coach a soccer team, I'm also part of the Model UN team at my school and I am going to start tutoring Calculus I and II in the fall, and maybe Linear Algebra. I'm crazy busy all the time, but I need to do my graduate work on a scholarship so while I enjoy everything I do I would probably do less if I didn't need to be an 'exceptional candidate'. Oh, also, I'm German-American, so I do have EU citizenship and spend as much time with my family in Germany as possible. I love traveling and learning about new languages and cultures (I'm currently obsessed with Indian dancing and learning Arabic in my spare time).
