Chapter 169
Gerard couldn’t help smiling to himself as he went back to the rest of the group. He was so happy right now and nothing could ruin it. He had the perfect finacee and the perfect son. He couldn’t believe how much he already loved his son.
He couldn’t stop thinking that.
Hisson.
Their son.
He decided that he would get a drink before he went back to the group – he hadnt had a drink in a while now, well since before he rushed to Frankie when the girls rang. Damn he was scared then. He looked around and realised he didn’t know where the vending machine was from here.
He’d have to ask.
He spotted a nurse at a desk and walked over.
"Excuse me, can you tell me where the vending machine is?" he asked smiling.
The nurse looked up, mouth open ready to tell him, but nothing came out. She just sat their starring into his eyes. She shook her head and looked away.
"Umm.. yeh next corridor on your right" she said looking back to the papers in her hands.
Damn thought Gerard. He’d forgotten about his red eyes. He’d have to find a way to cover them up somehow, but he’d figure that out later. He reached the vending machine and got a drink before walking back to the group who hadnt left the waiting room all the time they had been in the hospital.
They smiled as they saw Gerard walk in.
"How are the two boys?" asked Hannah smiling
"They’re both beautiful, amazing and healthy" beamed Gerard. He couldn’t stop smiling, and well, he had a good reason.
"Hows his ass?" asked Tom hiding his face incase something was thrown at him. Suprisingly nothing did. Gerard just laughed.
"His ass is fine Tom"
Damn what had this baby done to him? He couldn’t think of a good quick wit remark to throw back at Tom. He giggled to himself and sat down next to Bill and Amy.
"So what you doing now?" asked Bill turning to his friend.
"Well Franks teird and hes basically ordered me to go home and get some sleep" laughed Gerard taking a sip of his drink. "But the doctor said, hopefully they will be able to come home soon"
"That’s good" nodded Mikey smiling. Damn that smile was contagious.
Bill looked round to his friend, ready to say something. He stopped when he saw Gerards eyes.
"Dude, your eyes are red"
"I know" said Gerard "Permanently red now ain’t they? Got fangs permanently at night too. Part of the whole becoming a full vampire package"
"Do you think the baby has y’know the genes or not yet?" asked Amy lowering her voice so the nurses couldn’t hear.
Gerard shook his head "no idea"
"When do you think you are going to change Frank?" asked Mikey stealing some of his brothers drink.
Gerard shrugged. "Whenever he feels ready I think, when hes healed and stuff probably, but it doesn’t matter that much"
Mikey nodded.
"Shall we head off then? I'm starved!" said Tom getting up off the hospital chair pulling Kiro up with him and wrapping his arm around his waist. "Plus those chairs are making my ass go numb"
"I know what else would hurt your ass" laughed Amy as Bill helped her up out of her chair.
"Shuttup" pouted Tom as he rested his head on Kiros shoulder and lightly kissed his cheek.
"Well aren’t you two the perfect couple" teased Mikey as he slid an arm around Hannahs waist mimicking Toms actions.
Tom frowned.
Mikey got a magazine thrown in his face.
