Chapter 29
Gerard got up and walked upstairs to the living room to find Bill and Tom sitting on his sofa, he wasn’t going to ask how they got in. The whole group had known each other for years now and practically lived at the Way household.
"Hey guys" said Gerard, sitting himself down on the sofa next to Tom. "Where is everyone else?"
"Movies or something" replied Tom playing with his dreads.
"Why didn’t you go?"
"Some shitty girly film" he replied
"Hey! I wanted to go, I only stayed here so you wouldn’t be only" shot Bill, he honestly didn’t mind girly films. "You owe me a move trip"
Tom laughed slightly "yeah whatever, anyway Gee, how’s Frankie boy?"
Gerard smiled at the thought of the sleeping teenager in his bed, he didn’t even notice he was smiling until he saw the smirk and raised eyebrows on Toms face.
"Hes fine, just sleeping"
"Cut the crap Gee, are you two together or what?" Tom said, looking his friend straight in the eye.
"I don’t know, he’s a guy and I'm not into guys. But somehow hes different, I actually feel a connection with him like I havent felt with any of the girls ive been with"
Tom nodded, then his eyes went wide. "wait wait wait, you’ve slept with him?"
At this Bill turned his head and faced the two teenagers, his jaw wide opened.
"What? Of course not!" Gerard really wasn’t good at lying to his friends, they could see straight through him. Especially Tom.
****, need a good excuse. Think Gee, think!
"You said a better connection that any of the girls you’ve been with, therefore implying you had slept with him" Tom laughed "dude you are so gay" Bill joined in the laughing.
"Yeh well just because all you think about is sex doesn’t mean I do! I never ****ing slept with him!"
and with that Gerard got up and stormed into the kitchen and poured himself a drink.
"Hes so into ****" Tom cried, tears from laughter falling down his face. His brother in hysterics too.
In the kitchen Gerard could hear the fits of giggles from the twins. Damn them. Gerard knew that as soon as he was out of earshot Tom would phone everyone up and declare the gossip he just found out about his friend. He made a mental note to kick Toms ass.
Downstairs in the basement Frank woke up. Smiling remembering Gee’s promise. He rolled over expecting to see Gerards sleeping form but instead he was greeted with an empty space. Franks good mood suddenly ended. He shouldn’t of trusted Gerard, not after everything. He was too niave. He sat up and looked around the room, he was just about to get up and leave when he saw a crumpled bit of paper on the table next to the bed with his name on it.
Frank reached for the paper and opened it.
Frank,
Before you freak, I havent left you. I'm just upstairs I needed to talk to the lads. Don’t worry I'm not leaving you ever again. And I want you to know that, ill give you whatever you want. Ill protect you with all my heart and if you want to be together, then we will.
I'm sorry I was such a ****. I was in denial about my feelings, but now they are more clear than ever. Ive fallen for you frank, so hard. You’ll just have to give me some time to get use to it.
But from now on, I'm all yours.
Look at what you’ve done to me! First turning me gay and now making me go soppy. If you ever make me watch a chick flick I'm commiting suicide.

Frank smiled as he read the letter and the warm feeling had returned.
