Yeah, I understand what you mean. I have nothing against discussion and other people putting their views forwards. I also have nothing against it becoming somewhat heated as long as it isn't out of control - I love nothing more than a good debate about religion. And no, I don't mean I like to "beat people over the head" with my faith, I just think it's a topic that's open to discussion as much as any other, and an interesting one at that. Most places, I'll find that peole have strong views but that they'll be able to discuss it and put their points across, and yes sometimes it gets a bit too heated, but I can understand that. What I don't appreciate is when there's a thread about religion / someone wants advice from a religious perspective, people come in and simply say things like "this is stupid / [other negative adjective]" and turn it into a big thing about how religion is evil and blah blah when that wasn't the purpose of the thread at all. I have noticed that happening here, although to be fair, it hasn't been bad lately. Anyways, I'm going to shut up now seeing as this also was not the purpose of this thread.

Btw, are we allowed to discuss this? Or does it come too close to being a religious debate?
