It is stupid. I don't tell my doctor anything anymore because he just flips me off by telling me I'm attention-seeking, or that I am talking nonsense.
I really wonder how they would react if September 2007 (I was 17 at that time) was repeated? They had to call in security and I ended up in a big mess. I was lucky that I accepted outpatient treatment and I didn't get admitted again. Wasn't allowed back at school for a few days. Nearly got sectioned twice. I remember one of the doctors in A&E yelling his head off at some traumatised nurse to get an i.m. like a slave-driver.
