I'm starting to think that sexual orientation isn't what we think it is. It's probably more complicated than we can fathom. This is sort of tied to my belief in a gender spectrum rather than the binary male-female that is the most accepted social gender construct.

Put it this way...my sex is female...and I sex females...and don't wish to do anything else, but I don't like being called a lesbian because it implies strictly female-female relationships. I'm pretty sure I don't have a gender. So, I like gay. Since, gender wise, I'm possibly not female, and I also have liked transgendered boys, well, one. And I was friends with him way before he started transitioning and liked him as a female. I've never, however, liked a biological boy.
Does that make sense to anyone but me?
I think sexual orientation is tied to way too many things to be determined to be nature or nurture.
