Out of the dark by linda somethingorother and robin royston. That touches a lot on abuse but covers a fair bit of self harm as well.
I just read cutting it out by caolyn smith. But i wouldnt recomened tis book. It covers feelings of obession an the bond between client and therapist. But when it comes down to how she feels about self harm, the only real feelings described are the feelings that she does it because she wants the attention and to be looked after. Which to my mind gives off totally the wrong impression, espc seeing as its aimed at psychotherapists.
