Once in a house on fire - Andrea Ashworth; It's about the author's abusive childhood. The book starts from when she was very young, and ends when she's in university. Her mother meets up with many men, most of them abusive and horrible, and eventually she becomes an alcoholic, or something. Andrea Ashworth writes about her 'fathers', and how she copes. She talks about her first day at school and how she felt pressured. It's a really touching book and it's written in a fictional way - although abviously it's not.
