I am currently:

Ok so here's the deal, when I was self harming a lot, I kinda regreted it, but at the same time, I loved my scars, they gave me a since of security, and self injury is what made me feel alive.

but NOW, I see that self harm is what was holding me back from finding things that REALLY made me feel alive, like love, and kids, and the feeling of fluffy carpet on my feet, self harm is not what was keeping me alive, but more what was keeping me from moving on to a better place in my life, what was keeping me from being able to LIVE my life.

So, when I was self harming regularly, no, I very seldom regreted it, but at the point I am at now, I regret every scar on my body, and would give almost anything just to get rid of each and every one of them. Self harm IS a coping mechanism, and until you are ready to move away from it, or have someone to help you move away from it, you arn't going to be able to, but when you are ready to stop...you will know it.

I hope you are all doing ok, PM me anytime.
xx
