I am currently:

I go to an hearing voices group. I dont think my group is typical of an hearing voices group. It's no pressure to do anything. Our group runs for 2 hours with a break once a fortnight. There's a gentleman who only stays for an hour due to severe anxiety. I think if you leave after a while just as long as you tell whoever is running it you are leaving there's no need to stay for an whole session.

Our group runs like this: we start with a meditation session which lasts 5 minutes. Then we have a talk about how our voices have been for the past fortnight for ten minutes. During our talking about voices session people ask questions and if we are struggling we provide suggestions and support. Due to covid there is only 6 people in our group plus 2 group leaders.

Then we have a break. Then the rest of the time is taken with coping strategies. For example I take my artwork or poetry in and another of our group has written an book about hearing voices (which is available on amazon) so she sometimes reads an extract from it. Sometimes it's just a sharing of ideas. The second half varies from session to session.

I think that's it. If you have any questions please feel free to ask away.
