Hey,
Just for one day, try not to cut yourself. I was like this at one point a few months ago and it completely broke me down.
However, once you break the cycle it gets a lot less like...obsessive and controlling. Go out with friends for the day, or have a day in watching films and just generally pampering yourself and trying to have a good day. Avoid situations which could result in you getting all stressed and triggered.
