Awww i Aaaawed at the 18 year old cat. Its brought a lump to my throat. Couldnt you get him a half dead rodent to play with just so he feels like he still "got it in him"??
My cat Ray had a penchant for catching frogs. He loved em. They would arive with skin unbroken and then be ceremonially batted around the living room infront of us for our amusement. The frog would be removed, Ray would look disgusted and then come sit on you and stare with his tongue out!
He brought in birds and mice too but frogs were favorite. Aaaw i miss not having cats. Cant have one here as EVERYONE in the house hates them. My dad shoots them with his catapult (befitting i guess) and i hate it!
