I am currently:

Ouch! I'm laughing until I choke!

Before my uncle out in the desert decided he didn't like me any more, my husband and I went out there for a few weekend visits. They have 8 cats. So often we'd get up in the morning to find a dead kangaroo rat, or better yet just the leg of one, somewhere on the floor. It was funny to get up in the morning and see how many of the cats had curled up around my husband where he slept on the sofa, I think the record was five of them. Cats just adore my husband.

At 18, my cat is too old to go outside. He loves to watch birds. The day a heron went across the greenspace behind our home, the cat just watched awestruck. It was so sweet.

Our cat also does a "feed me dance" an hour or two before the alarm goes off. Jumps on the bed, meows in my face, moves to the nightstand, meows in my face, jumps down to the wood flooring with a distinct thump-thump. He used to wake me up by threatening to knock my glasses off the night stand but I learned to put them away.

Have fun searching for the mouse holes!

My husband is my best friend.

In forgiving others, we are not exonerating them. They may not deserve exoneration. Rather, in forgiving others we are giving up our anger over the fact that what happened is not what "should" have happened or that our life is not the way it "should" have been.
