And, it's ok that you dont' want to stop. But in the interest of the surgery, it appears important that you put the SI on hold. Set it aside for now and go for the greater good of staying well for the surgery. If you still need the SI when you are less infection prone, you can go back to it. We're not saying you have to quit hon, we're saying that for your wellness right now, just temporarily suspend.
