Thanks for the birthday greetings!
Today:
- Pleasantly surprised to discover that I was wrong with my first impressions about my boss and she is actually very nice
- My whole department gathered in my classroom with cake after having found out about The Birthday Situation, which I was very touched by, though K is slightly in trouble for telling everyone it was birthday!!
- Did chatting with colleagues and didn't die
- Today was the first day where I've felt that maybe work and being here is going to be OK
- Volunteering went well and I chatted to the people there
- drove in very scary fog and the second time I actually used my fog lights having sought advice from colleagues as to whether that was a thing (it absolutely is!).
