Hey Mark, I'm on P.I.P too, yet u say u need 40k to get ur SO to even apply, what's an SO? Or am I just misunderstanding? I'm not sure what an SO is, so not sure how to best advise if there is any other option other than you trying to raise 40k, I too have been unemployed for a long time, it's difficult even with all my qualifications, as my ADHD makes me lose interest in work, and I jump from one thing to another finding it difficult to stick to things, also because of my medication and criminal record from when I have been severely unwell and lashed out and attacked the police when they have tried to help, it's something that stays with me, and effects the jobs I can be accepted for, as having several assaults on my record means I can't work with children or the elderly, or in places like pubs for obvious reasons, doesn't leave much except shops stacking shelves, or factories, and the one I was at locally now package pharmaceuticals including sudafed, so not really safe given my track record with overdosing, hope you're OK, I didn't manage to get to Mind in Brecon today, as I didn't realise how much the bus times had changed, hopefully I'll get up there some time next week :)

Auror for you're benefit I'll explain that P.I.P (Personal Independence Payments) is a disability benefit that replaced DLA (Disability Living Allowance) in the UK, just thought I'd explain so you're aware for future, at least in part what people may be referring to :)
