I have a happy box. I think your CPN's suggestions are good :)

In mine I have pictures of happy times and cards and letters that remind me I'm loved, like Wonderland. suggested. I have things that remind me of things I've achieved; a couple of articles I've written, and awards from uni. A book of suggestions for wellbeing, a really cute little book called '14000 things to be happy about'. A teddy that my mum gave me and a couple of handmade things from friends.

I've got things to help me stay distracted if I need to; a sketch book, chalk, pencils, a colouring book, extreme dot to dot.

Sensory things: lavender essential oil, a stress ball, play doh, bubbles, sea glass.

Probably other things too, I'll check later and come back to this!

I think it's a nice thing to have; you don't have to completely fill it up to start with, mine has been added to over several years.

"I know you're sad, so I won't tell you to have a good day. Instead, I advise you to simply have a day.
Stay alive, feed yourself well, wear comfortable clothes, and don't give up on yourself just yet.
It'll get better. Until then, have a day."
