I am sad and shocked to hear this. I didn't know Katie very well, but I'd seen her around the boards and we talked a few times. I know she was struggling but as others have said, these news were rather unexpected...

Katy, I think your idea is lovely, and I think she would truly appreciate being remembered like this.(I personally have done this type of thing before, not necessarily with the church, but leaving flowers etc. in significant places for some who have passed away, including RYL members, so yeah...)
