I was told that I had EUPD (BPD) when I was 18, by an infamously irresponsible psychiatrist, purely based on my meltdowns. My meltdowns are due to autism. It said on my notes that I have autism, diagnosed when I was 16. He actually had the nerve to delete that off my diagnosis list, which is stupid because I was confirmed autistic by an experienced educational psychologist and you can't be "cured" of autism. When I complained about that psychiatrist (not only for that but he actually made me relapse with psychosis, among other things) I was switched to the consultant, who put my autism diangosis back on my records, and took EUPD off and replaced it with the psychosis diagnosis I got at 14. The consulstant said there's no way I have EUPD and that it is ridiculous that that psychiatrist had even thought of it, let alone put it on my notes. And that autism is autism for life, you can't just delete it, especially when my autism is not mild.
