i think some psychs do this. I would definitely say that some of my psychs have done this, then everything is viewed through the lens of this diagnosis they have in mind to make it fit.
When something very different could be going on
and it takes someone with a whole new perspective to see things differently, or look at the whole picture rather than the part that they want to look at and acknowledge.
Having said that, not all docs are like that, and i think it's probably just a human error.
You think someone is mad at you, so you look for signs that they are mad with you to build evidence, when really, they could just be having a **** time and be grumpy with everyone. But you don't see that because you're looking for signs that they're mad at you in particular. xx
