I can relate to this. If I hear voices, unless it is a clear command, I can never remember the exact words used. But then again, if someone in 'real life' gave you a long sentence to repeat back, you'd struggle to get it right word for word. So in a way, I think the difficulty in remembering details is kind of normal.
I guess my advice would be just to note down what you do remember. Even if you just recall that it was a threatening, male voice then that still gives you some insight into what might be going on.
