Counselling
Hello.
So those who know me well will be aware of my history with mental health services- essentially I've spent the past 6 or so years either not engaging properly, being on waiting lists or being slightly forgotten about (#abandonment issues). I decided recently to go privately, partly because I was supposed to be assigned a new worker in the New Year and I kind of got bored of waiting, partly because it means I can have evening appointments which is better because of my work and partly because if I'm paying money for it, I've got more motivation to really try to engage and not be a troll.
I've sorted it out now and I have a first session/assessment tomorrow and this feels like a really positive step for me to start to properly sort my head out and I just wanted to share that.
:)
