I have BPD and hardly ever post on FB or talk much with friends. I prefer them to talk generally, so I wouldn't personallly associate those quirks with BPD.
That said, whilst those things aren't necessarily typical of BPD they might be linked with her personal experience of the world and her mental health. It sounds like she might be trying to understand/express hwr identity.
