purpose is to try help members clear up any miscommunications that led to issues, some kind of agreement (even to agree to disagree and avoid certain topics with each other if that's the case), help keep a situation between members from building up over days or weeks until it blows up causing much more conflict and possibly involving other members, etc. Often times some of the arguments/conflicts that arise are due to miscommunication or misunderstanding something, other times over simple things that add up over time to become big things etc. We want to help resolve things early on, before they become huge issues that affect many more people
