Who has had ECT and was it helpful?
Would you have it again if it was suggested? what were the side effects... pros and cons of having it?
I am 25 years old and my major depression is treatment resistant. medication is not working as well as it should be and I've been on A LOT
my psychiatrist is really pushing me to a) go into hospital and b) give ECT a go..
I dont know what to do and what my options are. I am scared of being pushed into something that I do not want to do.
I don't even know what I want right now...
any advice/ info would be greatly appreciated
