I am currently:

I completely understand that feeling,
I used to be such an emotional person, everything hit me
I was almost borderline bi-polar I got such intense emotions, and really big mood swings and now I dont feel anything, it's like living in a dream sometimes, and all I want to do is feel again, even though my emotions caused alot of problems living like a robot isn't the better solution.

You're definitly not alone though, and I think you should trust your girlfriend enough to tell her what you're feeling exactly because maybe she could be helpful to you..

Turning to blades everytime we feel like this won't help us in the long run, maybe 3 seconds before guilt sinks in, stay strong if you want to feel again try;

-amusement park (scary rides and stuff)
-taking a really cold bath
-instead of cutting snap an elastic band on your wrist

it doesnt work for everyone, but maybe it could work for you.
