So long as you're over 16, what ever you tell your doctor should be confidential between yourself and the doctor. So especially if you tell him that your parents aren't to find out, then there's no reason for your family to know about it.
You've done the right thing though hun. It was a very brave decision to make, but one that's going to be very beneficial in the long run. I just hope that you're doctor is good enough to help you through your recovery.
