I don't think it's weird.
If the 18 year old was quite immature and the 24 year old was very mature then I can see that it might cause problems, in terms of what either one wants out of the relationship (the older may want something more long term whereas the younger might not), but then that'd be up to the people in that relationship to decided what they want, which would have nothing to do with me, or anyone else outside of the relationship for that matter.
