Thank you all, yes I'm about to go in to the appointment.
There should be a disability service but as far as I'm aware I don't think there is a fund or a lot they can offer. I was linked in to my last uni s disability service. They used to automatically tape lectures which was so handy but at post grad and this new uni they don't seem to do that. I guess I could enquire!
