Its always best to get checked out. I have pcos and havent had any this year yet, I see a gynae regularly though. They like you to have at least 3 a year to minimise any potential complications in future. They will prob do some blood tests first to check hormone levels and prob refer you for a scan to check everything ok. Then you might need meds to induce a period. Thats what i have , though for other reasons I dont use them. Anyway, yeh always best to check out anything thats not normal for you.
