I loved this.
I have an obsession with psychology, so anything like this peaks my interest.
I felt very sorry for all of them.
I know what it's like all too well to be unwell, sectioned, and wanting and aching to just leave.
They seem to have a good socializing and friendships made to make things easier, and just to still kind of be a kid/teenager, hanging with friends, laughing, having fun, focusing on something, anything, that doesn't revolve around mental health.
It's so lovely to see the connections they have formed, and they are just what they are; young people.
They are just struggling, but it's very inspiring to see them still trying, still fighting to keep themselves alive, and still have the strength and skills to still try to have fun, to just be kids, teenagers.
I'm not easily triggered, so it didn't trigger me as such, but it did cause some feelings, memories, and unwelcome thoughts up, however, that's the risk you have to take when watching things like this, you are warned it is sensitive and upsetting material!
I just can't help myself, I find it very interesting, and I love to see good outcomes, because with many mental health illnesses, the outcome isn't always so positive and so good, it's wonderful to see a few positive outcomes on this program.
It's also quite scary to see such similarities in myself in the majority of those young people... it makes me feel for them all the more, knowing exactly what they are going through, how much they are suffering and struggling... I just wish I could give them all a big cuddle!!!
I think for the people who are triggered, but still want to continue watching it, should try and have some things in place to help them through their triggers, keep themselves as safe as they can, and try to ride out the triggers and unwelcome thoughts/feelings/urges/memories/etc.
I hope those who were triggered are okay now, and feeling better; keep yourself safe. <3
