And I'd love to see some of the Joint Intelligence Committee's assessments of the past few years (which quite rightly I never will) and assess for myself the extent to which the politicians have placed expediency over reality.

As for reality I find people and institutions are less in touch with it. We had major investment banks go broke overnight because their computer models were wrong and they lost track of their actual worth. Analysts in a back room discovered they were over-leveraged by billions. I find US intelligence equally inept and cant believe we are helping the Muslim Brotherhood come into power. Countries pretty much stumbled into WW I and I see too much of the same kind of stumbling going on now but with much higher tensions. If there are any good caves near you let me know
