Hello i have listed the consequences of laxative abuse.
Dehydration, nausea, water retention, bowel infections, severe abdominal pain, Electrolyte Disturbances, irregular heartbeat, kidney failure, Electrolyte imbalance, organ damage, death from electrolyte imbalance causing cardiac arrest. Also colon failure, my mum has this not due to laxative abuse. My mum had a colostomy at age 32 and she very nearly died, its not pleasant, and she has problems everyday because of it and numerous operations due to ulcers on the stoma.
Please dont think that just because you see people that are thin, that they are happy, how does anyone know they are. most people have things they would love to change. i would rather be 2 stone heavier and look in the mirror and like what i see, rather than being thin and unhappy and barely able to look at myself in the mirror
