I must say I agree that this thread has come across a little bit aggressive, though I completely understand that you struggle to identify things that may appear judgemental. I think in this instance it would have come across better had you just asked why people didn't wear gloves when changing babies, without adding "why on earth" and saying it was "gross", as that adds in your personal judgement, which to the reader implies that anyone who doesn't wear gloves is ridiculous. I think it's also a bit touchy because it refers to cleanliness and hygiene and people can get self-conscious of people ostensibly insulting their hygiene.
I hope that makes sense, and this is definitely not meant as an attack, I was just trying to explain.
