YAY horses. If only I was still involved in the equestrain world.
Do you ride? I used to ride, almost every day and compete at weekends. Went for a few lessons this summer and realised how unfit I am now!
If so what discipline(s)? Hacking about, working hunter classes, showing and show jumping.
Do you own a horse(s)? Used to! Sold her before I had to go to University :(
If so what breed(s)? I don't know. Probably some Connemara and Thoroughbred in there somewhere. Some Irish Sport Horse for sure.
Favorite activity? Hacking out on a beautiful day.
How your horse has helped you? She probably kept me going throughout a really horrible time, brought me closer to my dad, taught me a lot of skills, a lot of confidence and she was my best friend.
A story? She was extremely difficult and bad tempered around people before I got her, but with a little love and socialising she became the most loving, gentle pony you could hope for. A little love and care makes the world go round.
