I've seen the crisis team I think 3 times, the last time was recently before we came to a conclusion I'd admit myself to hospital. Overall they're helpful, they ask the things they do because they're trying to help and understand so that they can take the right course of action. You're not being ungrateful, it's ok to be scared too. They'll have your best interest at heart though, remember that. There are always people that can help you. I can understand why people found them patronising, I found hospital staff at times more patronising than them. It's not personal, it just goes back to people only doing their jobs the best way they know how. It's their job to keep you safe and do what they think is best for you.
