Your Gp would probably be the best person to talk to in this scenario, I know its really hard but please try to be completely honest with them about how you are feeling.
A lot of people struggle to adjust to antidepressants when they are first prescribed and it is not unusual for people to react badly to them. They are known to cause suicidal ideation in people that are already prone to that kind of though pattern. Sometimes it is worth sticking with them as your body will get used to them and they should start to have some positive effect. However if you do have bipolar then some antidepressants can have adverse reactions and send people into a manic episode.
There are many different types of medication and therapy out there so it is definitely worth persevering until you find the right one for you. If you don't agree with what your GP has to say then ask for a second opinion.
