My distractions list:
- Writing lists (either silly lists e.g. an inventory of all my socks, or serious ones e.g. stuff I feel guilty about)
- Watching stand up comedy on YouTube
- Playing puzzle games on my phone
- Painting my nails
- Researching ways to decorate my room
- Writing letters to people (but I don't often send them)
- Tidying my room/organising my wardrobe
- Going through old toys and photos in the garage
- Planning birthday presents for people I care about
I know it's not much but I hope it kind of helps a little bit.
Little by little, break each cycle you're stuck in just little by little. You can do it. Things will look up.
