I do not know why you feel as though you need to apologise so cannot really give an involved comment on this and can people also please bear in mind my comment will therefore be general and not specific to anything/one.
All I was thinking whilst reading through this thread is that individual apologies to those you offended may be a better idea and feel more personal to them.
It sounds as though you feel as though some people should apologise to you as well for their part in the situation and this is something you would have liked to have seen but to be honest a lot of the people involved may not have seen this thread or be active any more (as bigmike said) so contacting them individually may be a better solution for you. Also although you may feel wronged they may (as Narcissa established) not feel as though they were in the wrong and therefore do not think that they owe you an apology (which at the end of the day is perfectly fair and their decision)
Additionally if you feel that:
1) certain people owe you apologies
and
2) decent people apologise
then this implies that:
3) if those people you feel owe you apologies don't apologise then they are not 'decent people' according to your standards - so why bother?
On a lighter note... I have just written the word apologise so many times that in my head it is no longer sounding like a real word :P
