It is very hard and sometimes I feel like I'm going nuts but I spent the age of 15 to 23 in 11 different hospitals and units without any breaks into foster care so 8 years versus 1 and a bit makes it so different.

I think you have to be careful not to get institutionalised when IP. That's the key to staying sane. I miss my pets the most because you can't explain to them why you ''abandoned'' them where a human can usually be explained to.
